Erica Allen, PhD RAC

Clinical Research Scientist

Erica Allen, PhD, RAC, is a Clinical Research Scientist at IMPACT. Prior to joining IMPACT, Erica served as a Clinical Research Scientist at SRA/Constella Group for over 2 years. During her time at SRA and IMPACT, she has served as a project manager for several projects (including an eIND in CTD format). Additionally, she has authored CSRs, Protocols, ISEs/ISSs, INDs, Annual Reports (IND and NDA), Briefing Documents, IBs, General Investigational Plans, SRT Charters, and Narratives.  She has also prepared journal articles, meeting abstracts, and poster presentations. This work has encompassed a broad-range of therapeutic areas including anesthesiology, pain management, restless legs syndrome, neurology, metabolic disorders, and ophthalmology.

Dr. Allen has 2 years of post-doctoral training in cell biology at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. She received a BS in Microbiology with honors in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park and a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins University. She also earned her US Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) in 2008.
