RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 16 March 2017 – Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT), a pharmaceutical research and consulting firm located in Research Triangle Park, NC, had another amazing year in 2016.
At IMPACT, we pride ourselves on producing the highest quality work that is sound from both a scientific and regulatory perspective, while at the same time providing the best customer service to our clients. This approach has consistently resulted in a significant amount of repeat and referral business over the years, and 2016 was no exception. In addition to repeat business from our established clientele, IMPACT’s client base increased by 20% relative to 2015, with our core service offerings – medical writing, regulatory operations, and regulatory affairs consulting – each establishing new clients during the year. As a result, IMPACT had a particularly stellar year, and our upcoming business through 2017 and beyond appears to be quite strong.
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 1 February 2017 – In January 2017, Jenny Garver, RAC was promoted to the position of Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT).
Since joining the company in July of 2010, Jenny has become an invaluable member of IMPACT’s senior team. During her time at IMPACT, Jenny has been a key contributor on a wide range of documents and projects and has developed into a knowledgeable and well-rounded scientist. She has been responsible for authoring a myriad of regulatory documents, including components of Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and New Drug Applications (NDAs), and numerous clinical study reports, annual reports, protocols, and Investigator’s Brochures across a variety of different therapeutic areas. In addition to her exceptional writing skills, she has served as a project manager for various clients and has become an excellent mentor for our newer writers. She also recently received her US Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 18 January 2017 – In December 2016, Lena Randhawa, PhD was promoted to the position of Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT).
Since joining the IMPACT family in March of 2012, Lena has been an integral part of the success of the company and the development of our corporate culture. In the role of Senior Clinical Research Scientist, Lena provides a wide range of services for IMPACT’s clients, including authoring various types of regulatory documents (eg, components of marketing applications [NDAs/MAAs], clinical study reports, and study protocols) across many different therapeutic areas and serves as the Project Manager of a strategic alliance with one of the company’s largest clients. In addition to providing top‑notch drug development services to IMPACT’s clients, Lena co-founded and continues to co-lead the company’s ‘Making an IMPACT’ community outreach initiative. She is also an active member of the Corporate Communications team, which promotes and encourages connection and interaction both within the company and with the drug development community at large.
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 13 Dec 2016 – In the second half of 2016, IMPACT’s employees continued their generous efforts via the Making an IMPACT community service initiative. Together, we held several donation drives and fundraisers for various groups and organized a volunteer outing at a local food pantry. We also kicked off our 1st annual Season of Giving!
Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
|In July, Erica Allen organized a group outing of IMPACT employees and family members (Beth Pultorak’s husband and daughter, left) to volunteer at the Durham Branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. The Durham branch partners with other agencies to distribute food to nearly 650,000 people in central NC who struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for a healthy life.
The Food Bank supplied large crates of zucchini and sweet potatoes that were donated from local farms. The IMPACT group spent several hours sorting fresh food into individualized bags for immediate distribution to people in need!
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 21 October 2016 – In the first half of 2016, IMPACT’s employees continued their generous efforts via the Making an IMPACT community service initiative. Together, we held several fundraisers for various charities as well as a blood donation event.

In March, Jennifer Moen organized her 3rd annual March Madness charity bracket fundraiser. Thirty-two of our fellow employees, families, and colleagues entered 62 brackets for a chance to win the top 3 prizes for their charity of choice.
