A Recap of 2015: Another Great Year at IMPACT

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 28 January 2016 – Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT), a pharmaceutical research and consulting firm located in Research Triangle Park, NC, had another amazing year in 2015.

Our Clients

IMPACT’s staff has a diverse range of scientific and professional backgrounds, and our flat organizational structure means that all of our employees are available for incoming projects. Our approach of establishing an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust with each of our clients is a primary reason why the great majority of our work comes from satisfied customer referrals and repeat business. This philosophy continued to be successful in 2015 as IMPACT saw a 33% increase in its client base in 2015 relative to 2014, and business looks to be particularly strong heading into 2016.

Our Social Media Initiative

IMPACT staff members are more than just talented drug development professionals – we are also a group of individuals who are committed to spreading the word about who we are, what we do, and how we do it – via social media outlets. In 2015, IMPACT launched a blog, where employees share timely and knowledgeable updates on various topics related to the drug development industry, from regulatory affairs to electronic publishing to medical writing.

In 2015, IMPACT became significantly more engaged via its Twitter account (@ImpactPharma), where we feature our company culture, employee promotions, and involvement in the community. Finally, IMPACT saw a notable increase in the number of followers on our LinkedIn account, which we use to let the outside world know about IMPACT’s people, business, and company news. We look forward to increasing our engagement with our current clients as well as with prospective clients and employees via social media in 2016.

Our Commitment to the Community

While the experts at IMPACT are highly-trained drug development professionals who are passionate about helping each client get their drug to market, there’s more to us than that. IMPACT’s employees volunteer their time and talents to support a variety of causes in the local community that are important to them. Through the company-sponsored “Making an IMPACT” program, our staff members, along with their friends and families, came together as part of 14 community projects throughout the first and second half of 2015. Not only did this result in wonderful contributions to various charities throughout the Triangle community, but the initiative builds positive relationships among the staff that translates into a happy and productive work environment.

IMPACT is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in Research Triangle Park, NC. Our team consists of drug development professionals who specialize in medical writing and quality control, drug development consulting, regulatory affairs, regulatory operations, project and program management, and early phase clinical trial management.
