Caroline Drucker, PhD, Promoted to Senior Clinical Research Scientist

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 13 May 2020 – In February 2020, Caroline Drucker, PhD, was promoted to the position of Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT).

Caroline joined IMPACT in May of 2017 as a Clinical Research Scientist. Within her first year, Caroline quickly became an independent writer known for her reliability, production of high quality documents, problem solving, and professional demeanor. During her time at IMPACT, Caroline has been involved in authoring a variety of challenging and complicated documents, including protocols, Clinical Study Reports (Phase 1 to Phase 3), narratives, Investigator’s Brochure updates, Agency briefing documents, and efficacy focused submission documents across a wide range of therapeutic areas. In addition, Caroline has recently seamlessly taken on the project management of a strategic alliance with one of the company’s largest clients, and she quickly became the “go to” person for both the IMPACT medical writers and the client.

In recent months, Caroline passed her RAC exam and she also took on the role of IMPACT blog coordinator, identifying important topics for discussion with drug development industry professionals and ensuring IMPACT authors successfully provide relevant, informative, and timely information. Caroline takes pride in representing IMPACT to the local community, as evidenced by her speaking engagement at a UNC Women in STEM conference and seminar.

“The promotion of Caroline to Senior Clinical Research Scientist is incredibly well deserved. She has shown amazing growth over the past few years and has become a truly integral part of our team. Caroline hit the ground running upon joining IMPACT, and she hasn’t slowed down for even a second. Caroline consistently produces high quality, on-time documents that meet, and often exceed, client expectations. She is also an excellent communicator who develops strong relationships with her internal and external colleagues whilst remaining flexible to changes in project timelines and strategy. I feel very fortunate to have Caroline as part of my team,” said Chrissy Williams, IMPACT Associate Director of Medical Writing and Submission Management. “I appreciate how thorough and professional Caroline is in all aspects of her job. I look forward to seeing Caroline continue to develop as a writer, reviewer, and mentor to her more junior colleagues – she is an incredible asset to her colleagues, my team, and IMPACT.”

Tim Garver, IMPACT’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, says “I simply could not be happier for Caroline earning this well-deserved promotion. Since beginning at IMPACT, Caroline has quickly evolved into an excellent medical writer who uses her strong scientific background and critical thinking to produce top-notch deliverables for our clients. In addition, Caroline serves as an outstanding mentor for members of our junior staff, and she works diligently to develop and maintain strong working relationships with our clients. Most recently, Caroline has begun serving as the Project Manager for one of IMPACT’s largest clients, a role in which she has flourished. We are very happy that Caroline is part of the IMPACT team.”
