Kimberly Nice, PhD Promoted to Associate Director, Medical Writing and Submissions Management

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: 5 March 2015 – Impact Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IMPACT), a pharmaceutical research and consulting firm located in Research Triangle Park, NC, makes a great addition to its management team.

On January 1st of this year, Kimberly Nice, PhD, was promoted to the position of Associate Director, Medical Writing and Submissions Management.  Since joining the company in November of 2009, Kim has played an integral role in the successful growth of IMPACT.  Kim has consistently provided outstanding project work and produced high-quality deliverables for all of our clients, which has been vital in helping to expand our client base, predominantly through referrals.  In addition, Kim has led very successful in-house initiatives such as our “Lunch-N-Learn” program, a monthly seminar series led by IMPACT staff members and external speakers where topics germane to the drug development industry are discussed.  Finally, one of the most important contributions Kim has made to IMPACT is the time she devotes to mentoring the company’s junior Clinical Research Scientists.  The dedication she displays in helping these individuals is of great benefit to their career development and is also critical to the successful growth of the company.

“Since joining IMPACT, Kim has been a key player in getting us to where we are today,” said IMPACT Executive Vice President and COO Tim Garver, PhD. “Kim has nearly 10 years of experience in the CRO industry and, during that time, she has proven to be a top-notch drug development professional.  Not only is the management team at IMPACT consistently impressed with her work, but so are her clients based on the high praise she routinely receives from them.  Kim is a committed and trusted colleague, and we are very excited for her to assume this new role at the company.  We are confident that she will continue to provide high-quality services for our clients and be a wonderful mentor for the staff.  At the same time Kim’s addition to IMPACT’s management team makes an already strong team that much stronger, which is essential for the continued success and growth of the company.”

IMPACT is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in Research Triangle Park, NC.
